This is the other project that's sucking up all the Dragsters' funds ;D ;D I installed hot water heat from the wood stove but with these last few days of sun it's been 70+ degrees even with only 3 windows...6 more windows to go Attachments:

Mike, All you need is a ramp at the other end and the Dragster has a winter retreat.

Heide & I went shopping for flooring and ened up with Bamboo yesterday,should go good with all the T&G Cedar we stopped at Woodland Creek furnture store on M-72 in Kalkaska,what a cool store,but with 'Art Gallery' prices ,I also talked Heide into letting me knock out the kitchen wall ,It's load bearing so lots of temperairy braceing Kitchen is gonna be tore up,Hmmm wonder how long i can stand eating take out? ? ;D ;D ;D I'll take pix later ,right now it a cluster ;D

All the windows are in and trimmed on the interior too I even made a couple shelves from the ruff sawed 1"x9"x8' Red Oak which I had planned down for Heide's plants

Went on a road trip yesterday ended up going 'coast-to-coast' = Alpena to pick up a cpl cedar posts for the supports on the wall I'm removing Ther hand hewned then over to Boyne city to pick up a truck load of Maple hardwood flooring for $40 ,My Cuz got it from a Mansion on the Bay ,Anyone want to pull nails ;D

Hey Ray,Sorry 'bout that ;D I did our bathroom a cpl,yrs ago one of the most expensive rooms in the home to remodel Wirlpool tub,Cedar on the wall&ceiling, ceramic tile shower wall&floor, pex tubing under floor(warm tootsies) ;D ;D Thanks Ray,I really dislike remodeling but I watch all them DIY channal shows and think I can do it WAY cheaper and do too ;D ;D ;D

Removed kitchen sink&cabinets and took out the kitchen wall yesterday installed a 10' header held up by the nice cedar posts started at 10am and reinstalled a newer sink&cabinets and my Home Comfort wood cookstove,(that I really missed the last few days)all done and was cookin Chile by 6pm ;D ;D ;D Then jumped in the much needed hottub, ;D ;D ;D neck/back is still sore,but just a little

Mike you are the MAN!! I can't drive a nail with a hammer to save my A$$. I had to buy a framing nailer and throw my hammer in the pond. Can you post a pic of the wood cookstove. I have one I've been trying to sell, but now am thinking on keeping for a summer kithen and heat source for a {future} nice garage. THANKS Mike.

well Rick,I can't load the pic i wanted ,wife is stressin after trying,found this one instead,wood cookstoves are awesome I've been using one for 35+yrs,I had a makeshift summer kitchen yrs ago and the stove wasn't protected too well and it rusted very quickly so do build a good shelter for it,what kind do you have?
