Hey from the frozen north, I used to hunt near Vanderbuilt and did hunt elk drew a tag in 96 and came home with a 400 lb. cow, some of the best eating there is. Anyway I drive a 73 VW Thing named Ruffuss, I have a pr. of 62' bug verts, a 66 bug vert, and a 54 baby window, and a buggy. Ruffuss is the only one restored and I have a blast driving, showing and yes racing him18.23 at 68 mph in the quarter people ran to consession stand and back before I went through the trap but it was a hoot. Welcome and hope to meet a real racer in the spring. Later Kenn

Glad to see that you are here and keep posting

Jeremy turned around a few weeks later and best his time to 12:23 at 106 mph. He lowered the rear some and did some more jet changes. He says that there is more in it. I told him I built him an 11 second motor ;D
