The Midwest Council of Sportscar Clubs has a Beetle Sedan class, or at least they did a couple of years ago. Rules were pretty cool: 15x7 wheels, 1600 cc with 1bbl carb. I saw them at both Grattan and Gingerman and it looked like a great series, but car count was low (4-5 cars)
Just checked their website and it lists a "Volkswagen Sedan" class!!!!!!!!

So I've been kicking this around again. They recently added a 63 Beetle to the car list in Forza Motorsport 4 so I immediately decided to create a series in the game. My inspiration came from the fun cup but then decided I wanted to keep it original. So I started looking up the old Beetle Cup from the 90's and found its been somewhat reincarnated as the Beetle Challenge. So in creating these cars in the game and reading all about the real racing I started getting an urge to explore the idea of creating one of these series races here. Keeping it very budget minded and using the Midwest Council of Sportscar Clubs Volkswagen Sedan class we come up with rules/regulations. Keep it 69+ standard beetle so all the cars are IRS/Balljoint. Plus late model cars are cheaper/less rusty in most cases. Limit displacement to 1641cc, any y gearbox as long as stock ratios are kept, cage, lowered, sway bars, shocks, etc suspension, open exhaust choices, all steel bodies,
So who's in? We could keep this very cheap depending on entry fees, licensing,
