Hello from Ohio

Just joined and wanted to say hello.
Hope its ok to hang out here since I'm not in michigan. Theres nothing going on down here in nw ohio, so you guys are stuck with me, LOL.
I live about 20 miles from the indiana line and about 6 miles from michigan. I've got a 75 std beetle thats been turned into a baja. I've only had it since february of this year, but I've done a lot to it. It's a great running car, but I'm not so much into the off road thing anymore (bad back). So I'm either going to sell it, or convert it into something else. All depends on whether or not I find any interest. If I can sell it or trade it, I will get a manx style buggy and set it up for street. If I can't find a new home for it, I will lower it and turn it into a volksrod :]
either way, you guys are stuck with me, LOL

Welcome! Doesn't matter where your from we love new members! There are many options out there for your Baja. I have seen many nice street use baja's that sit lower to the ground with nice wheels, Or you can turn it into a drag car, Volksrod like you mentioned, convert back to a regular street sedan, etc.

I like the color of that Baja! Don't sell it, just get another to keep it company.

thanks for the welcomes, and the advice, I wish I could keep it and get another, but funds arent there, and I'm on disability, so they say if I have more than one vehicle, even if its a junker, that they would consider it a resource that I would have to sell.
