There is or was a Ghia at a JunkYard in Plymouth IN. that was returning to the earth. It had a similar front attachment on it, but it was done with bondo and metal strapping. If I ever get out that way again and I have a camera I will take a picture of it if its still there.
Also about 6 years ago I found a web site in Europe that was manufacturing wide body kits for Ghia's that had to be welded on. On the site they showed a Ghia with a wide 911 rear wheel stuffed under the new rear fender of a Ghia. I will keep my eyes open for the site if it still exists.
