Most organizations use SCCA rules for car classification. I don't know anything about this particular group, however. Here's a link: portersperformance.com

Just make it a simple course with classifications for stock motor, modified under 1700cc and modified over 1700cc. Require all tires to be DOT legal and you are set. It would just be for fun anyway. Id love to do one of these events all VW but it would take a location and lots and lots of cones I LOVE CONE RACING!!!

At the Bug Outs in VA they use stock, modified, and racer categories in both air and watercooled divisions. That gives them a total of only 6 classes and it seems to work pretty good.
I think the autox at the Bug Run is a seperate event for any make or model of car that just happens to be going on at the same time as the Bug Run, but that is an assumption on my part. Time will tell.

My understanding is the autox at the bug run is a seperate event happening at the same time. VW's are welcome to participate in the autox. Autoxers are welcome to run down the track also. (they will have their own staging lane for fun runs.)

I'm going to attempt to make it down to this. Rudy was a huge help with a couple issues on my bug this week, so now all I've got to do is my spring tune-up & valve adjustment and I should be ready to go. It also depends on if I can get away from the Furrin group autocross in time to make it down however. Too bad they are on the same day.
