Back in December the tires on my daily driver were too worn for the snow so I found a good deal on slightly used snow tires.


195-60/15

Now it is spring and snow tires are soft rubber compound that wears quickly in warm weather (not that it is warm here yet). Since I wanted to keep the tires mounted and my stock rims were ugly due to salt corrosion, I decided to upgrade to 16" from Tire Rack.


205-45/16

Tire Rack's headquarters in South Bend. So, we went down to pick them up and save shipping. They did the mounting and balancing for free and even included lug nuts and an adaptor socket.

My daughter had fun. She even said "I like your shiney new wheels Dad!"

Their not in Michigan their in South Bend, Indiana but its a short drive for the best prices in tires

I stopped by there a couple months ago on my way to get a single wheel trailer and got some smart car tires. It had snowed 18"-20" in the last 24hrs, was not fun but a good deal on tires for sure. They also had a Custom European Ford Transit Connect van dropped and nice rims, makes me wish my work Transit Connect was that nice. lol.
