I hope it did not cost the Craig's List price. Not even close!!! I was surprised when she said what her bottom line was and she took less then that.

Took the interior out. Took the back of the front seats off and took the covers off from the original seats. Threw those away they still stink. Sprayed more Febreeze in the car. And sealed it up or as much as I could. The seats are sitting outside so they can air out some.

I am so glad I am here and not at your garage. I bet Jamie loves your new 63 beetle.

Well the interior is all out. And it still stinks. Any ideas? I have Fabreezed it 6 or 7 times. Yes the insulation is out too and so is the headliner.

I recall a similar discussion on this forum about getting rid of bad smells in a beetle. I remember because I suggested using charcoal since it is absorbs smells. There were other good suggestions too. However, I don't remember if the thread title was about bad smells or if it was a build thread. Hopefully, someone else will remember. Good Luck!

well since all of the interior is out why not spray it with some new paint that should mask or get rid of the smell...

1641 cc with water / rust in the #2 cylinder. 87 mm cylinder and pistons. I don't think it can be honed out.
