Beth and Dave and Pearl and I went to Winterjam this past weekend at Daytona Beach. What a show! The quality of all the show cars was better than any show I'd ever been to. The location was also very very nice (especially this time of year). The swap was not very big and I didn't have room to bring home the 8 Sprint Stars for $600........... Just think you passed up the GTG to go there (What a fool ;D ) There isn't even any snow down there  Looks like a great time! Wish I was there! Post more pics if you get a chance. |

:)WOW!! Thanks for the pictures. Just seeing everyone in short sleeves and shorts make me wish spring would come sooner. I am sick of the winter blahs..Samething every day. Cold and not much sun.

I took a pic of the Type III for sale sign with the phone number. It got deleted right away before I did something foolish. Car was pretty solid, but just a shell. 1600 drag car material...........

WOW! I really WANT the rally bug. It's just too cool, and looks like it might be a blast to drive and own. Wonder if the owners like Pumas?  Had a SAAB 96 rally car for a while that was a bit difficult to live with. Had full livery and number plates, and hated when everybody with a rusty Mustang or Camaro thought it was a fast race car. Rally SAABs of the early 70's had about 70 horsepower. Great photos. Now I have to go dream about a bug... Dave |
