So I was looking into this and found MIRA and I have been shooting quads and bikes ice racing so The natural progression is to want to photograph cars ice racing...plus I have a car I have been wanting to get on the ice for awhile now. Has anyone ever done any ice racing? I'd think a bug would do quite well at this sport and am eager to give it a try. I just need to make some tires for the job!

We have a couple of members who ice race somewhat frequently.
It's a gas...

Well, I'll have to get in touch with them. It's been a blast to photograph and I'd love to get my wheels out on the ice.

I have been having a blast shooting the races on cedar lake in indiana. But I see they race on Chippewa lake. It's about 3 hours from me though.

Oh it was definitely cold that day. You know the point where you don't feel your hands but you know if you warm them up you'll just feel pain so you just ignore it...yeah love that point. Can't use my camera with gloves...
