2011 Lansing Buggy Builders

I wasn't really looking for anything but came home with some super deals 1) pair of lowback Thing seats for $20. 2) 019 dizzy for $5.00 3) spun alumium gas tank for $20. 3) Thing (auto stick) starter for $10. 4) stainless steel lined oil filter assembly for $10. 5) an alumium frt. end and of course a couple of Thing toys. Spent a bunch for NOT! looking for anything???
Had a great time, I really think we got the word OUT!
The only negative comments I heard is the lack of racers and swap meet area being slim. My reply bring out your car to race and your teasures to sell at the swap.
Otherwise we're still growing year by year, event to event, don't you agree?

It was great seeing a lot of you at the Buggy Builders swap and at Bonnie's place afterwards. I was able to put some names with some faces. I hope to see you'all some more this summer!

I picked up some used parts cheap for my '73 Super as well as some pop-out window felt. Bought some front & rear brakes for my '65 Convertible. Bought some rear brakes for my wifes '67 ghia. Bought my wife some gold 'ghia' earings and a HOT pink VW hat. I also bought some GoodVolks.com window decals and a yellow GoodVolks T-shirt. I even won a door prize!

All in all, a very good day.

I Must of walked a Hundred miles ;D EVERY vender got atleast one sometime two BugRun Fliers!!!and I told all of the about the FREE set up There ;)Great Score ther Kenn 8-)I grab some 94B Pistons$40 w/Total Seal Rings and velosity stacks from Clinton 8-)Speedo,Oil block off plate, Thats about it,I did get parts before the show when I picked up my Wedgemated flywheel ;D,Porsch fan & shroud,2276 short block W/ Berg parts a good AE Case, 32 vents for 40idf's, Berg equalizer pully 8-)ect,Madmike

I'm fast! I wasn't wearing my yellow shirt...

I was there for about an hour and a half, most of that was spent running tires out to the car. (Thanks for the help Steven) Talked to Jim W for a minute then I split.
BTW, my spindles are reinforced stockers.
