Mustang hunting.

So the new beetle now has almost 180,000 on it and Cassie gets her license this summer. So Cassie gets the NB and Regina has been lusting after a current gen mustang v6. So I think we found a couple in detroit and are going today to look at pick up. I explained to her that even though she will have a pimp ride that Ally will still be the fastest car in the garage ;D Ill post pics of the car we get. I tried to talk her into another NB but she would have nothing of it. And a GTI was out as well. She has this pony car itch I think she needs to get out of her system (I did it with a trans am gta a while ago).

My Mom had the same itch

When the new body style came out Dad landed a deal on a Mustang in the previous body style. So now Mom has a Mustang and it to is a V6. She loves it but not to much in the winter (she is gas peddle happy)

I can't fit in the car at all, but thats ok because its Mom's Mustang.

Sorry to hear Dan, hope you get through this tragedy soon. Keep your head up, not all is lost. That just would not be allowed in my household and all efforts to do so would be crushed. ;D

Congrats! The V6 'stangs are nice cars, and handle a lot better with the V6 than the V8.

They don't handle as well as the 4 cylinder SVOs did. Mine was amazing...and if you add a pop-off valve and raise the turbo boost to 19 lbs or so, they really fly, too. Mine had a tendancy to get sideways, but I think that was a driver issue...too much fun! ;D

Haa, the VR6 is such a great engine though. Only thing I can understand is the Rear wheel drive. I'd be much more into GTIs myself if they were not FF. And I'm not big on the Turbo 4s in general.
