New to SW Michigan

Hello I am new to southwest Michigan. Living in Saint Joseph now. I daily drive my 73 standard.

My car and I have been through a lot. I have a lot of stock parts for late model bugs. 68 on up if anyone needs anything let me know.

I am usually bored out of my mind all week up there. I'm in valpo playing in that garage on weekends in indiana and up in saint jo during the week. I'd love to talk VW some time during the week haha.

The T4 is assembled, full of oil, and awaiting cooling tin setup/oil cooler/filter. So spring will see that in my car!

I have always thought it would be fun to own one, but my height restricts me from most little sports cars that I like. So this summer you need to drive it to a show to see if I can fit in it.

I've been thinking we need to get a group from Berrien & Van Buren county together on a regular basis.

If you and/or Brian are bored one week night, you can come turn wrenches or just point at things while I work. I need someone to make me get out in the garage and change my piston/cylinders. The engine is already out. I'll PM my number.

Oh I have more shots of just my bug and the yellow bug is getting finished soon. has some holes in the pan and a rod knock. I also had to run a new fuel line through the channel. FUN!



That is my bug on the 3rd floor of a ww2 munitions plant. It's probable that bombs produced there had been dropped on the VW factory during the way. This is a quite ironic photo.
