In 2011 we are going to put together one flier for the Bug Run's and The Good Volks events. US131 motorsports park is coordinating this. Fliers are sponsored by George's Hot VW's and US131msp!
I need details for the main 2011 GoodVolks events we would like listed on this flier. Please post the details you would like on the flier to this thread and I will get the info to Stephanie. Please put everything you want. Also, please put the minimum details you want listed as we may not be able to put everything on depending upon space.
Thanks!

How about we do one side of the flier with a map showing where each event is? That way folks who are unfamiliar with where things are located might find something that looks interesting. I'll be happy to draw something up.

I'll be happy to draw something up. Dave This is a good idea Dave, but, with limited space, it may be tricky fitting it in. Besides, with an address and google, you can find just about anything. Maybe just one small outline of MI, with corresponding numbers, or, dots over the city where each show will be taking place. This will give people a general area, they can narrow it down from there. Here is my idea, from last year, when I was working on the Buggy Builders and German Gathering flyers: January 6, 2010 For the flyers, I have a couple of ideas for a layout and design, but would like as much input as possible from you, Glenn, and Rudy. Do you want to come up with your own design? Do you want to have a seperate flyer or share one with the Sam's club show? I am thinking that sharing has a few advantages, cost being the big one. It will be easier to distribute, we have to hand out the Bug-run flyers along with anything else, the fewer flyers the better. Maybe do a two sided flyer, The Goodvolks logo on one side, with the "low key, no dues, etc" , and a schedule of events. ( we could even go as far as talking to HW and Old Fort about listing some of their events) The other side could have two, half page flyers, one for the Sam's show, and one for the German Gathering. What do you think? Any ideas, suggestions? Thanks, Patrick

I like the 1/2 page idea, For the Charity show and German Gathering on one side, the other side for the Bug Runs. Is the Sam's club show back on? or were you referring to the Charity show? Even a 1/4 page flier might work with the Charity, German, Drag day and Dune days events?? I think one side of the flier should be devoted to Just! the Bug Runs as they are still our #1 focus, correct? Patrick what ever you come up with is fine for the German Gathering remember Simple! Old Fort and HW chime in please!

Good ideas. I guess I need to clarify though.
The plan is to have only one flier for everything for this year. Then we are asking people to only hand out one flier. The track will coordinate design and layout. We just need to provide them with details of our events.
Sorry, guess I should have been more clear originally.
