Horrible night sleep last night.
I dreamed I drove my bug (which I don't really have) with my youngest daughter to some hotel. Overnight the bug was stolen. Walked out of the hotel and it was gone.
So feeling horrible, I decided to buy another one that was for sale nearby. Later that day it was stolen too.
I thought maybe I forgot where I parked it so my daughter and I wandered around a maze of parking lots looking for it and got lost in parking lot. At the same time a VW car show just popped up so I kept thinking I saw my car only to find out it was somebody elses.
I finally woke up feeling sick and anxious. What the heck was that all about? I've never dreamed about cars.

HAHAHA Crazy.
In a way we live that dream. We purchase a bug and work on it till its a part of us then its stolen away by the next owner then we start again. We go to shows hoping to bump into one of our old cars.
Your dream makes perfect sense to me.

I think it was primarily driven by guilt over so little time spent on my car this past year. Now that's it's cold I keep making more excuses. It's gonna haunt me for sure.

This sounds like what is frequently diagnosed as "Air-Cooled Storage Syndrome" From what I have been able to gather this disease becomes more prevalent when a few days of good weather follow storage. While there is no known cure, the symptoms can be moderated by winter driving of an air-cooled rust bucket. This can lead to "Frozen Driver Syndrome" however.
I only drove my Super about 500 miles this year and have a bad case also. Plans are to try to avoid a repeat next year.
