I currently have the Bus and the Kublewagen. I love the Bus with a 196 hp engine I can dust of the regular cars in the game. I will try to show pictures soon. I am currently looking and waiting for the 68 Ghia. Currently my favorite car is my Lotus Elise.
What VW's do you have dan? What is you favorite car?
Anyone else?

All I have right now is the Kubel. Ive driven the bus on the top gear track and with the stock motor its miserable.

Yep the stock bus does suck that is why you need this..... 196 hp engine with lowered suspension and cool rims and tires. So you can catch MAD AIR like this........ Looky that 3 VW's all racing guess who won the race Speaking of VW's how about some Splits taking the famous Corkscrew at Laguna Seca Here are some more of my favorite cars (sorry not VW's) This is my Favorite Car And I love this one too

Wow! I bought my PS1 back in '95, for the sole purpose of playing the original Gran Tourismo, I ended up with 3 PS1 games total. I then bought a PS2, for the sole purpose of playing GT3. I ended up with about 8 games for the PS2, although, I only play about 3! Yesterday, I received my PS3, and GT5, Cori had to drag me away from the TV tonight just to eat! I love it. Looks awsome on a 52" in HD!!! I doubt I'll buy very many other PS3 games, this is the only one I need!

The 1949 Beetle is won on one of the B Spec races but I can't remember which. If you keep an eye on the used car sales it comes up there sometimes.
You take photos during the replay of the race. Then save them to a USB jump drive and load them up to the computer.
I have a few more VW's that I will take pictures of and post here
Also anyone racing on-line yet?
I was last night and hosting a 150hp or less mini car event. I had a total blast and I plan on hosting it again so look for it. 150hp or less is perfect for running your VW's around. Last night on-line my 112hp Karmann Ghia was unstoppable. I loved kicking ass in the Ghia. Today I might have to build up my 1976 GTI to race that on-line.

I have a bunch of on-line Racing buddies now through the PlayStation network. Every week on Thursday at 7:00pm eastern standard time. I host a on-line Racing Room.
To make it interesting I choose a car to feature that no one usually races because of weirdness, slowness, poor handling, or for some other reason. I normally choose all kinds of tracks from road to rally races, and city tracks to the oval at Daytona.
The rules are simple. Buy everything you can for the feature car max it out completely. Run a few tests on the car to tweak the handling the way you like it, then Race. Everyone will be in the same car with the same horsepower. The only thing different is the driver and the handling of the car.
One more thing remember to buy dirt and snow tires too because I like to run rally tracks.
This week (or tomorrow) the feature car is the Volkswagen Bus.
Last week we ran the Daihatsu Midget II a small golf cart like super mini truck. Maxed out was just about 100hp. Everyone had a total blast and the car was very interesting on the oval at Daytona.
So on the Playstation network friend me my sign in name is ghiamonster. You will have to type it in unless you find me racing online. Once we are friends under the community tab in GT5 find my name and click the coffee cup. The cup is only there when I am racing. Let me know if you need any more information.
