No adds for me but I use firefox at home with some kind of fancy geeky add-on that my IT buddy did. At work I did get adds at the top of the page but for some reason not any more.

Just one banner should show up on the page itself nothing else.

well it hasen't done it to me since i posted but for two days every time i opened a thread on here a big ad would come up in the middle of the screen. seems ok now

Every time I bring this site up at work, our firewall sends me a warning about the ad sites. Hopefully it doesn't get reported to the IT department.

You might have some malware or spyware on your system,
I too run Firefox with popups blocked so I have never had anything pop up on this site.
