What are they worth?

Hey guys need your help. I decided the interior I pulled from my 63 is not the color I want to go with so I posted the entire set on the Samba.

Since I have never seen a complete(seats/panels) OG interior for sale before I have no idea what it may be worth. Can anyone think of a ballpark figure? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If Bren is vdub63 then he has already asked how much I want for the set. I actually posted this minutes after getting a "how much" request from someone on the samba and a minute before reading vdub63's PM.

I just paid $150 for a set of '66 solid red seats and all four door panels. Same shape as the '67 seats. No seams splitting. There are a couple tears on the rear seat bottom but I believe both will be out of eye sight. The vinyl seems soft; hopefully as I start to use them they wont tear or start to come unsewn. They are dirty but I believe they will come clean. If not, it does not matter that much to me as I am putting them in my 'hoodride'. I had originally offered the seller $100 and he would not come below the $150. Oh, and the '66 only had one door handle also. I guess the driver was not supposed to be comfortable.

So, I won't be making an offer since I just bought seats. I hope my post helps answer your question.

Another thought. If it were me and both sets were side by side I would want to pay less for seats that would need repaired right away. Though your door panels are much nicer than mine. Two tone is a nice touch.

What are you going to use for seats? Do you have others already?

I have a set of 67 lowbacks I was going to use in my 64. My only problem is going to be getting 67 front seat covers and a 64 rear seat cover without buying two sets. If I keep an eye out on the samba I just might be able to do it

What color are you looking for? I have brown '67 snap on seat covers. The fronts are good. The back has a hole in it. I also have some other seat frames that I won't be using. I have the older style front seats like you are selling. My rear seat I believe is a '67 set (not sure I know how to tell the differenct on back seats). If any of that would help let me know. I'm sure we could work out a deal/trade of some sort.

I will have to think about that. May need to go that route when I decide on the interior and need to purchase.

My rear seat I believe is a '67 set (not sure I know how to tell the differenct on back seats).

The difference is the way they bolt in. The brackets on the back part are angled on the 64 and straight on the later years. Also the back portion is shaped differently on my 67 rear seat. Bottoms appear to be exactly the same.

I also bought a set of black snap on seat covers that fit the '65 and older seats. Brand new. Seem pretty nice. Bought these before I knew about the red seat set. Another option if you are interested. I would just want to get my $65 back out of them.
