my buddy tony was messin around and clipped a little (4inch) oak tree. wish i could say it looks worse than it is but everything on the left side is bent. its an irs and it even pulled the inside trailing arm back about an inch on the frame

How did he hit the tree when he obviously has 4 wheel steering? That might require a whole new chassis! Did it wrinkle anything at the rear of the tunnel? If the rear torsion housing was knocked out of square, it's time to start over! At the very least, it looks like your buddy Tony needs a pair of tree bars! Who is going to do the fiberglass work? I know a guy...

hey if he need a rear torsion housing I have one for sale in Indiana for 100 bucks I might be able to come down on price.

i cought a tree at low speed last year with mine and junked a rear wheel bearing, these two incedents have made me decide with nerf bars on all our buggys from here on out.
we got lotsa parts, the torsion housing is still the same distance off the pan on both sides. the trailing arm pivot at the base of the rear framehead i think can be fixed. everything else has to be replaced from the torsion out. even junked the cv shaft.
he was messin around out front of his house on the road whippin it back and fourth kinda slidin it in second gear and got the front tire on the gravel and couldnt save it. there was a little tree on the road side of the ditch. spun him around and wound up backwards down in the ditch
