I was pretty excited to find this randomly looking through the hot wheels at wal-mart last night. I am surprised anyone at Mattel even knows what the SP2 is. Sorry crappy cell phone pics   |

I don't wanna appear stupid guys (Kenn; keep it to yourself!!) but what is an SP2? Watercooled? Looks a little like a Karmann Ghia TC.

Nice article. Thanx, D. I really liked that yellow one photographed from the rear boarding the ferry. Only 10,000 made (vs. 18,000 TCs). I'm going out to WalMart today to get a new stereo for Blue. Think I'll stop in the toy dept. If anyone wants one, leave a msg on my cell (269)245-9313.
That is to say, if anyone wants a MATCHBOX CAR - you can buy your own stereo.

Why would a person go to a wal-mart? Maybe if there was no rest stop, I would drop off something equivalent to the merchandise on it sells. Check out walmarthingych.com/ to get a glimpse. |
