I'd like to go, but a bit of a long hike for a car still NOT holding a charge. HOWEVER.... my B&D Jump Starter s/b arriving from Amazon tmw!!

PM me if you'd like to form a small caravan. I guess leave here around 4?

Patrick, can/should I bring the dog? Is this event k-9 friendly?

Art, I think the dog would be ok. I'm not too far from the venue and have a (full) garage and tools if needed.

Anyone who has been to this show knows it's a good one, usually pretty big, 500 cars maybe?

I think I am planning on being there. It's only a couple of miles from home. A good excuse to polish up the bus!
Same goes for me, if someone needs to wrench on something, let me know. I am pretty close as well.

Thanx, guys. My new Black&Decker jump starter is coming today - UPS shows it "Out for delivery" but the driver on this route doesn't often get here til after supper so I don't know if I'm gonna make it up there or not. I finally got the Jump Starter - plugged it in to charge - 48 hours will be up when 60 Minutes comes on Sunday night. I will have no fear now going to Toledo or Kokomo.

Put new JVC stereos in both cars the last two days and with AJ's help figured out how to play tunes from a USB memory stick. Went for a long drive around town tonight with Beatles' '65 on the memory stick and McGovern '72 bumper sticker on the back. An attractive middle-aged woman in an Oldsmobile told me at a light that she liked my car and my choice of music and flirted a little bit, so the evening wasn't a total loss, I guess.

I handed out all 7 of the GoodVolks cards that I had. I went over to Patrick to get some more and gave out 3 more. We ran into a couple from Holland rebuilding a 74' Bug, putting in new pans, a younger girl from Grand Haven working on a 65' Bug. She said she went to the Bug Run in Martin to buy parts for it..........But never heard of the GoodVolks.

Not to many people gave my Bug a second look but, my brother in laws Bus had a bunch of people asking everything about it. We had a great time.

Next time will will plan it out and save a few spots so we can park together.
