I need to get a new fuel tank outlet pipe for my Bus. The one that came on it is to short, to small and wont work. Do you know where I can get a new one? I would like one with a 5/16 ID. The one that cam on the Bus is 11/64 or 4.5mm. How the heck did it run with that small of a line?

I think that is the same one I found. I didn't think it is big enough to run 2 Webber's. I will keep on looking.
Thanks for the help.

Are you sure? Webbers only like 3-4 lbs of pressure I thought.

No. I'm just guessing. ;D I ended up making my own from 5/16 and a washer. I brazed them together. I filled the tank with gas and let it sit over night. We will see how it holds in the next few days.

Somehow, I think your math is wrong on the size here. Even at 20 miles per gallon you should be able to get fuel to the carbs without any sort of issue. Webbers also only like a few pounds of pressure at the inlet as well, as Bren said.
Just my two cents worth...

The electric fuel pump I have is adjustable. I also made the tube go up into the tank 1/2 of an inch higher so I wont pick up as much crud, that I couldn't clean out. I know I will have to keep an extra gallon of gas in the tank or it will be on empty.
