Any one? I'm going Friday/Saturday evenings at the normal place(behind the Arbys on Cork St, in the Best Western parking lot) near the service Rd. Just come and watch all the rods and street machines. we can join them this year(80' and older) at the fairgrounds but at $55.(all weekend for two people) a pop I'll just do the watch and enjoy thing. You'll see everyone watch the rods and look at the VW's kinda neat when they have all that money wrapped up in their rods and folks walk past to look at VW's. There are always stories of their first or last, the one next door, etc.....

Art, just off Sprinkle Rd. Started out being the Street Rod Nationals North (49' and older) but are now excepting all vehicles 1980 and older. There is a service road between Arbys and Perkins, that goes back to the Motels. I'll be (depending on the weather) parked in the Best Westerns parking lot behind Arbys. Get there early stay late! I have soccer(Grandkids) Saturday morning on the East side of the State so I'm not going to make the fairgrounds until Sunday. We usually do breakfast at Uncle Ernies on Portage road then on to the show, bring your walking shoes and camera. Pm me with any other questions. Kenn

Its a Kalamazoo Tradition that happen every year we just chill out near Sprinkle road like Kenn suggested just to watch the FANCY cars go by. They are nice to look at but I am keeping my own opinions to myself.
I can add it if you want but we usually just hang out at a parking lot.

Just got home from a very wet outing. Not many cars out and about(Alot of those that where were covered) Pulled in with Ruffuss and had a crowd of older gents make their way over. One said he would trade me his Model A, I said thanks but no thanks. The next guy asked if I wanted to sell Ruffuss again a no and the last guy has one for sale. It then started to rain pretty good and everyone made their way to Perkins or Arbys. I went to Perkins. Gave out all the club cards I had with me to everyone interested. The guy(Elvin) with the one for sale bought me a piece of pie, I again thanked him. May be a trip to Ohio(Dayton) in my future. Back tomorrow to go to the Show if it's not raining.

You will have better weather tmw Kenn. Sorry, but I've decided to go to Osseo - meet some MVVC friends and have a piece of pie at the diner down there. We're leaving from my house around noon if you decide you wanna come along.

Sure did and it was bad!! to the bone. The owner runs an upholstery business and by the looks, does VERY nice work. Didn't get to talk to him but it had Indiana plates on it. I have his business card.

Oh, man, that is sweeeet. That would've been worth the trip over to Kazoo in itself. Kinda reminiscent of the classic chopped car of all time: '49 Mercs.
Any idea who modified the top?
