Greetings VW people From Redford Michigan

My name is Dwight Brown and I met many of you at the Fall Bug Run last weekend.
I am originally from Southern California (Yes I know, but its pretty expensive to live there! ;D ). in 1987 I moved to Virginia and went on a VW obsession like you would not believe including owning 13 type ones, one type III, one 912 (ok that one was a porsche), and five water-cooled ...in 13 years! I was also working as a Diagnostic Technician for a VW dealer at that time too!
I have since moved to Southeast Michigan a few years ago and the interest died due to lack of support. I did not know there was a VW following in Michigan. Seeing all of the Beautiful cars at the show and hearing/watching the drag races has gotten my juices flowing again!
All the VW's have came and went in my life...except the first one I ever bought, back in 1987. I am pulling my 1972 bug back out of the garage as we speak (the pic says 2004 because I don't know how to set the date on my camera...This was taken this morning)...
