Ok my turn again. With no children and no trick-or-treaters Halloween for Leanne and I can sometime be boring. In the past we usually just fire up the VW and drive around and sometimes check out a haunted house.
Here is my idea for everyone like my self lets do something lets fire up the VW's and drive around. Lets give that last go-around before old man winter blows his wintry breath. Yes I know that I complained about the cold before but its like Kenn said thats why they invented gor-tex
So who's with me.

Sounds interesting. I was planning on tucking the air cooleds away for winter after the Color Tour. Maybe thats too early. What exactly are you proposing as far as date, time, place, etc?

Yes Glen side windows are installed and seem to be holding up well.
As for date October 31 Halloween it falls on a Friday night.
For the place and route I was kind of leaving that up in the air depending on who would like to go and where they live. Also I am open to suggestions.

Rudy, don't put that Bug away yet we still have the goose festival on the weekend of the 12-14 then we can go over to the winery like Beth wanted to last year.

I'm there even with no heat and a convertible top/plastic windows, I'm game. Depends on soccer games though. You plan it AJ it seems every time I plan something it frickn rains. JC Taylor just sent me a notice that my insurance is good through Nov. it use to be the end of Sept.(six on, six off the road) with no rate change.(Cool. Later Kenn)

I am thinking of prolonging my Ghia driving as long as possible has any one ran a plug in interior heater that plugs into the cigarette lighter? I was just wondering how much they warm up a car?
This is what I have been thinking how about a night drive either through country roads or through neighborhoods to see kids dressed up.
Does any one have other idea's?

Its a thingy that you use for a 12v power outlet all VW's have one. right? Or did I install that myself along with all of my other goodies.

As for the Halloween Cruise we have Ruffus and my self, dubfreak1 is interested and southpaw with a strong maybe. I would like to plan a route that has a central location for all if thats possible.
Still no ideas come to mind, any suggestions
Modern Technology is fun especially in a vintage VW..... Jmallen05 are you in?

Is anyone still interested with driving around Halloween night. It is going to be the warmest day this week at a balmy 62 degrees and sunny. I am thinking of just driving around by myself if no one wants to join me.
