I love these little cartoon VW's created by Dennis of the VW Club Of The Philippines. manilaghia.i.ph/blogs/manilaghia/ I have been in contact with him to get some templates to create more of these. He said he hand draws then(in paint I assume) I would like to use them to create some fun looking flyers for future club events and other vector cell shaded cars I have been working on. Here is what I started with  Took some time to get here but I was also watching the Race/Lions lose.  Its not perfect but I think it came out well. Heres one with hubcaps.  Enjoy. |

Dustin that is to cool I love the cartoony shape.
I did like the older cartoons of the big wheels at funky angles and the car sitting super low.

I used to like those as well but not so much anymore, The vector cel shaded cars I am working on are realistic shaped since they are based off of real cars but shaded differently.

The hubcaps need to be blackend and no VW emblem on the hubcaps so it is still stealth.

Ya the first one with my attempt at lugs and grease caps is the final but one with caps just looks better. I will probably try it again and make the wheels better.

But the first attempt is how the car sits now.
I still like it.
I would use it for my Avatar but when my new "toy" comes in it will be my new Avatar. Unless my photos don't work very well.
I am thinking of making a display unit for shows this winter. I could use that picture for it with your permission.

Who were you thinking of for photographer sorry it can't be me no digital camera yet. Maybe soon because Wifey just bought herself a digital toy a GPS that I can use. So I will by a camera next.
I just had a cool idea how hard would it be to get a tee shirt with the picture on it?
