Does anyone know the last name of the guy that runs the red chopped top, nice Fuch style wide 5 rims. I absolutely love that car! Its been around for a long time I have pics of it from the old Sam's Club show back in the day and it shows up to the Bug Runs all the time. He builds all of his own stuff, meticulous. He had absolutely no sand on his machine in the dunes. I've never seen a ride that doesn't leak oil somewhere, his do not. His brother builds trannies, that hold together---big plus in my eyes. I think first time out with his chop top he ran something like a 13.6, that's spankin. I'm sure the chop shaved a few pounds. Hope I can get him to come, Ryan Brill, too. |

Updated the first page with our schedule as follows:
The track website says gates open at 11AM and racing starts at noon. We will try to get an area away from others so we can pit together and wil have a "driver's meeting" around 12:15. At 3:00 PM we will get back together and the best reaction time with an air-cooled VW wins the trophy.
The weather report looks good! If we need a rain date, it will be 10/30/10

Man I can't wait. Saturday noon can't get here fast enough! Forecast is looking good. Attendance list is looking great! I am hoping to break 14 in the 1/4 ;D. My last chance for the year to try it  . |

I just talked to Clinton, and he is spending sweetest day with his wife. Cant blame him. Myself on the other hand has been told I need to be at work to cover for someone. Again this year it is happening to me. Gotta be thankful for the job. It supports my habit. Enjoy guys. Maybe next year. |
