starting on the new chassis for the bc bee today, did all the body work last winter and started driving it.the chassis had been painted with undercoating. unfortunatly that hid the rust. the napolean hat is junk and the front end is twisting 6 inches or so from the rest of the car in the trails good thing i snagged a chassis off c list a few months ago. pics to follow

Are you going to cut and make the pan shorter? How solid is the pan in the pic? Post some pics of the progression.

I never did ask, are you going to paint or polish the diamond plate?

trying to add stiffness to the pan with as littl lift as possible on this one. the bc bee body is a little tall compared to most and in the seat area. your arm rests perfectly on the side of the car now. any higher and youlle have to tuck your elbow against your side LOL this should also give me a solid attachement point for my nerf bars which are going to run almost all the way to the front beam to try to triangulate the chassis and keep more of the flex out of it these are for a 108 wheelbase imca mod but were going to modigy them to fit the buggy chassis www.speedwaymotors.com/IMCA-Modified-RH-Nerf-Bar-Kit,4448.html
