Pittsburgh Classic #3 Sept 12 (PA)

The Pittsburgh Classic is in its 3rd year at Pittsburgh Raceway Park.
This year we will be featuring two heads up racing classes. The Pro Outlaw class will be back again and now we have the Cooker's Street Shootout.

This event will include 3 1/8 mile bracket classes A total of $3000 will be given out in 3 classes. Will you be the one to take home the money?
Also included is 3 Heads up racing classes. A watercooled Street Challenge, the Pro Outlaw race and the Cooker's V-Dub Street Shootout in which there is a $3000 purse for the winner of the class! Sure to be some awesome racing going on that day!

Show car area and a New/Used swap meet area.

How many cars turn up at the event?

I will certainly go to the introduction forum and introduce myself.

Just trying to spead the word about this event.

As far as numbers at the event, we have only had 2 and the car show numbers are right at 100. Race cars around 50. We are really trying to promote it hard with our new race classes and the $3000 for the Street Class that we had a sponsor bring to us.

We are VW enthusiasts ourselves and take pride in our shows to make sure all the VW Enthusiasts that come have a good time. We need your support to keep this going for the future.

We would love to have you guys! This is only the 3rd year, so still trying to get it established. We have a cruise and cruise-in planned for Saturday afternoon/evening too.
Looks like we are going to have some good racing if you like to watch or participate in that. Also car show and swap meet!

Saturday night Cruise and Cruise-In held at Dino's Sports Lounge in Latrobe. Approx time 5- Until. Cruise time and starting point will be announced at a later date.

Dino's will be giving away gift certificates' for the Lounge that night as well.

If you plan to race Pro Outlaw or the Street Shootout, let's start getting those registrations in. All the entry fees go toward the race. If you guys know anyone that would like to contribute money to these two classes or the event, please let us know. We need all the help we can get!

We will have registration for racing & show cars on Saturday night at the Cruise-In. Please come by the table and see us and we can get it done and will be ready to go for Sunday!
