I bought this car about 4 years ago, it looked good from a distance, but definetly not a award winner. I actually was driving it every day to work, untill one morning I came out and someone had pulled into my driveway, and ran into the rear end, pushing it into a pole, damaging the front apron and hood. (never found out who) So I pulled the engine, 1914cc and stuck that in my tub bug so I could keep it running, and started tearing down the super. Concentrating right now on the chassis, its solid, just a bit of surface rust was found under the tar mats, making it pretty, and installing disc brakes all around, I also plan on putting in lowered struts. Once I get that all done, then I will move onto the body more.

Good work so far, how long have you been working on it? Can you post a pic of the front end? I've never seen a super pan before. Keep up the good work.

I have been slowly working on the pan, removed the trailing arms, and cleaning them up, and painting with Zero Rust. The other trailing arm was on the drivers side, and last fall when my wheel fell off going down the road, it damaged the shock mount on the trailing arm, Does anyone know if you can buy just a new shock mount? I haven't found anything online yet
