I went and looked at 4 Bugs on Fathers day in Dorr. One of them is now my sons new Bug project. Its a 72' that needs LOTS of work. The good thing is the car came with lots of extra parts that he doesn't need that he will be selling off to pay for the car. I hope he doesn't loose interest in it and makes it nice. Here are a few pics of it.   |

I also thought they were Pedrini Wheels, but they are not. They are Gas Burners, He doesn't like them so he is selling them.
My big problem is the wiring. I have to figure out what it all is.

The exhaust came today along with all the other small parts we needed to get it running. I am shooting for tomorrow to start it. Also picked up some new fenders and more brake parts from David today. That will keep up busy tonight.

HE gave up on it!
He said he needs a car NOW that he can drive to work. So it sits in my garage till he can sell it. I wish I had the money to buy it. What a sad day for me.
