Hello all!!! I have what I believe to be a sand shark fiberglass dune buggy, which I inherited. I know close to nothing when it comes to restoring vehicles, wish I did, and was wondering if anyone out there could give me a suggestion as to the best place to take my buggy to get it up and running again. I bought what I believe to be a used 1500 1968 single port engine for it to replace the one currently in it which my brother tinkered with and let it set, so now its frozen, I also have new wiring, exhaust, etc for it. There are things i know need to be replaced on it , such as brake lines, wind shield,.... Just would really like to get it going this year, instead of it sitting apart in my garage with me dreaming over it......any suggestions? ?

Welcome to the forum, You could have a club BBQ at your garage and we may be able to HELP you get it together, running and driving. I personally would think you would be better off starting with a dual port 1600, parts are easier to find and give more options when you decide to improve the performance(and you will want too!). Good luck! and we love pictures no matter what. Kenn
