Chris, Welcome to the club. It is nice to have another Ghia lover. At the next GTG meeting or other club gathering , we'll sit in the middle of the table. So far I know you are the 4th person, AJ, Art, Aki and you, owning a Ghia. Yes, Aki, but did you notice his name DOESN'T start with "A"? That's OK, we'll still show him a good time....

Here are more pics! Comments welcome. Note the one pic of the paint that has separated from the body. Other than a few minor dings that's the only issue with the body. I am planning on putting the Euro tailights on with amber turn signals... Cracked dash pad... should be interesting to replace. Engine has 53,000 miles on it. Ouch! this is the one spot I'm concerned about. Not sure what I will do at this point...

Chris; This is my favorite color scheme of all time in Ghias. When we first moved back to Battle Creek (after living 16 years in Lexington, KY) I saw a guy driving an Irish Green convertible with tan interior on 20th Street. If I hadn't been on my way somewhere important, I would've turned around and chased him down and offered to buy that car - it was 'showroom new'. Never saw him again, but that's what made me decide to buy another Ghia after all these years. There are a lot of nice color schemes out there, but Irish Green/Tan is at the top of my list.
Touch up the door and replace the dash pad - that's all it really needs that I can see! Did the PO say if the carpet had been replaced? It looks original! Nice mats too! Interior, pan and engine bay all look great.
You've got a nice one there, my friend!! I'm Irish Green with envy....
PS ....and it almost matches the boat trailer!!!
