Well without fenders I think a beam extension and the wire wheels would look sick!

Madmike: The chrome alt. stand is yours big boy. Let me know the next time your in the area or the next GTG and I'll bring it. Actually glad someone can use it. I used yellow Taylor plug wires on the Sonett years ago. I bought a kit to allow you to fab each wire to the exact length you needed. The plug ends were molded on, and I got ones that were 45 degrees to better fit the heads. They looked great, and worked great, but since they were not radio suppressed, no one close to my house or close to me on the road ever got any kind of radio signal. Found I really liked the 45 degree plug boots. Easy on, easy off. I do remember they were stupid expensive...like $20 a wire. The dealer tried to sell those braided stainless plug wires, which could talk a good running engine and turn it into a poor running engine just by putting them on. They had a hidden benefit, too. They would cut through any hose, wires, valve covers they made contact with. I had a lot of stainless AN hoses that destroyed anything they touched unless they were restrained. I'll never buy them pre-made again...I'll always have them made to order. Dave See, I wasn't picking on you Dansam. I had them myself.

Madmike: Take a look at these. They are Puma deck lid (engine cover) hinges. They are very clean and come in black or chrome. Nice quality, and I think they are about $20.00. www.purringpumas.com/Exterior_Parts.htmlDave Riedle

Madmike: I agree with you on the hidden hinge. but that may be tough. Since it is a curved lip you can't use a piano hinge, unless it's a small section of it. I'll look a bit more for you. (Lots of interesting catalogs here. ) Dave

I like it better without the engine cover myself. But if you must. I think copper door hinges mounted on the outside of the veh would look sweet on sued paint.
