Oh, I LOVE twitchy cars, especially rear-engine VWs.
Tiny steering wheels make it even better...and wide tires...oh la la! I am not certain M.N. would be very much fun on a fast, bumpy road.
Are you running the spacers for the beams? They work, but they really make the steering heavy.
Dave Riedle
P.S. Wait until you get heavy crosswinds a twitchy car...I think I got religion really quick with one...and the RAIN! ;D

Mike: The Pig of Plastic is a little twitchy, but not bad. Crosswinds...well, they make life little more exciting. Overall, it's quite good, but I run a Sway-a-Way camber stop, forged drop spindles, KYB gas shocks on the Puma, so it is not close to stock. Steering is a bit heavy because of the wide 14 inch tires and low tire pressures. Overall, it can be driven hard, even with the short wheelbase, and you can get a good rhythm going and make very good time. Rain, however, is VERY exciting. You can not drive 70 MPH in a heavy rain. It's under 1500 pounds, and the first Good Volks show I ever went to was in Holland in several hours of heavy rain. Various parts of my anatomy crawled into places I did not even know that were available inside my body... Pucker factor was VERY high. 50 to 55 MPH is as fast as anyone would ever want to go...and heavy rain in high winds can become a religious experience very, very quickly. That is NOT in a good way either. Oh my GOD, HOLY $H!T, and things kind of like that just come out of your mouth ALL BY THEMSELVES! Dave Riedle

No pucker factor ;D Although most roads here in 'Hazzard" are one big bump Turns out It must of settled because I started out with 1/4" toe in and when I checked it it had way more re-adjusted and now it's way Mo'better ;D ;D ;D I may try driving in the rain today, just to see how it handles
