Yea odd choice of trans. But I guess it makes it more accesable to those that cannot drive stick. still a neat vehicle. For off road it would be nice to be able to have the torque converter other than that Id think it would just slow things down a bit. Still not a bad lookin ride

These were generally thought of as a well-engineered and well executed kit. As I remember, they were sued by AM General and infringed on the design of the H1 Hummer. The design was new enough to possibly cause buyer confusion, and of course, showing the Humbug in off-road situations, and copying the H1 brochure did not exactly help their cause.
I have seen well presented versions of this sell for $15,000, but I suspect they were to be used as rolling advertising.
I do suspect, however, that nice versions of these will always be worth what they are asking for this one.

Sadly, I find things that look all "Hummer" pretty silly. It does not change the fact that they are nicely done, and supposedly well-engineered. Still, it's that "Hummer" thing...big tires and bigger chrome wheels...
Might as well take out an ad in the local paper and tell the world you have a little wee-wee!
I would much rather have something like a Manx SR. Now those are pretty cool...
It would do about as much off-roading as I am likely to ever get these days.
