Spotted a 73+ Beetle/Superbeetle yesterday on Washington Ave. near the Citgo station. Only caught a quick glimpse of it but it was dark blue appeared to be in really good shape and all stock. Wonder why they are putting it through the salt  |

We teach our kids not to call anybody stupid. This driver may end up being a club member someday. I'd like to have a vw I could drive in the winter time. I believe VWs can perform even in winter time. Obviously he (she ) is comfortable driving his or hers in winter time.

I agree Aki,
I think they are crazy to drive it based on the hazzards of other drivers and salt that can lead to rust not its ability to perform.

I must be stupid! I drive the Turdle everyday, it is pretty rough underneath though. I would never drive a "nice" VW in the winter. I find myself driving much faster than others on the road due to the confidince my Bug gives.
