Just out of curiosity what makes you a member of The Good Volks? Is there some sort of initiation;) or application;) or is it just website users, there isn't any highly classified meetings or members only jackets that I'm missing out on is there? No real reason just wondering.

Nope, no jackets. There is no official membership or anything. Just get some window clings, and a tshirt, and support the cause. I dont know who has the same opinion as me, but I like to think that if you are willing to spread the word about this club, You are good in my book.

That what I thought I was just messing around. Although I think member jackets would be sweet, the shiney chrome colored type with stitching on the back and elastic on the cuffs and waste. J/K

Yes Chris is right, We are a no dues, no requirements aircooled vw club. Speaking of jackets I was thinking about some tech style jackets with sew on patches would be cool. But I think they would be somewhat expensive.

I like the Jacket idea I need a new one anyways. Don't like chrome it would clash with my car. I would like a black one with a hint of yellow.
Jerry I was wondering the same question about membership but I was just too chicken to ask.

I was thinking a Technician jacket like this one with a stripe and our logo, also possibly a VW logo or a name patch if anyone wanted it.  |

I hope everyone knows I was kidding about the chrome colored jackets. I would also be more than happy to be the club accountant, but you can't ask where the money is going, and I can't provide reciepts.

Or just send the money to me and I will gladly donate to "Restore my oval foundation" I will give receipts on what it was spent on. Just not sure if it is a tax write off  |

Jerry, I know you were kidding but jackets were something I was thinking about anyway just not the ones you were joking about. I have noticed alot of clubs members wearing club jackets in the colder months and thought it might be cool to have them as well. |

I would sport one for sure, I never can hold onto a winter jacket. Maybe put the club name on the back, If you get a price on these please let me know.

Here is what I was thinking about. Yes a Tech Jacket would be cool. I also like the idea of the stripe but what about getting the stripe in the color of your personal car color. The name patch idea could work but should we put our actual names or screen names.
