Bill,
Not sure if you made it to Bakers Sunday? I was only there from about 2:30 to 5. Did see a really nice Cream colored sedan, but never did run into the owner? The place was packed!
Hope your "unveiling" went as planned. Let me know if you ever plan on Baker's again, I would love to see your ride.

Dave:
Sorry, I did not make it. Funny thing (well, funny now)--I put the car on the road Saturday afternoon. It drove great! Unfortunately, I discovered that the headlights were gettting rubbed by the tires when in a hard turn. I should have uncovered that before I installed them--dumb!
Anyway, I had to take the lights off and repaint them. I should be there next Sunday.
How was the show overall?

The show was pretty good. Lots of cars, and a good mix too. The main lot was full. They had cars parked up on the grassy hill there, and a good number of cars in the lot over by the put-put.

Next Sunday (9/28/08) is the last show of the season. I was there today (the lone VW), and lots of nice cars.
