Sup guys?... I'm Aaron from Strongsville (Cleveland) Ohio. Been into VW's since the late 80's. Fortunate enough to be working on VW's daily... widefive.net I also run a forum at cultwagen.com Currently into the lowered VW scene, but love screwing around with engines, etc... I am DdK along with Clint and Jeremy, not sure if any of the other Michigan guys are on here? I get up to the Lansing swap every year, so probably run into some of you there. My '60 Single... '65 Ghia My first car, still have it.. '70 Bay I just sold... Piece of JUNK '58 Beetle Current Winter project... Thanks...

You live in Strongsville I went to collage there at ITT Tech. I lived in La Grange then moved to Parma. Good Times. We may have even met I worked part time at the AutoZone on Pearl Rd. Did you ever see a nasty faded mustard yellow Ghia running around?

Thanks for the warm welcome! We may have even met I worked part time at the AutoZone on Pearl Rd. Did you ever see a nasty faded mustard yellow Ghia running around? Sorry, I've only lived here for about three years. Grew up in Orrville, home of Smucker's. Been to that AZ before though. Seems like you have to own a VW to work their. Place is over run by FatDubs members, lol. Funny though, was just talking to by buddy Bruce who has a '69 Ghia about how we haven't seen any other Ghias around here before. Thanks...

Well I guess we missed each other I lived out in Ohio between 1995-2002. When I worked at that AutoZone I was the only one with a VW.
Let me know if you happen to see a Orange 1971 Standard Beetle running around.

Just remember man, at least you won't catch tetanus from looking at that 58. The gutted, parted, rotted pile from MI. The fenders were so thin they fluttered like wings on the trailer all the way home.

I like your single cab. I had a 58 beetle that looked like yours. i sold it last winter for a 100 dollars to a guy that said he was going to restore it. it was complete. i hear he parted it out..i guess thats how it goes though.
