Riding home after the Fort Wayne Show a Beetle broke down on 69 north he was driving in a group so it was not that big of a deal. Well it got me thinking about spare parts to bring a long for the just in-case. The odd part is that I put a ton of miles on the Ghia back in 2003-2004 and I never carried any spare parts or tools lucky me.
Here is my list
Points and Condenser Feeler Gage Fan Belt Spark Plugs Spare Tire and Jack Fix a Flat Coil Fuel Line Fuel Filter Hose Clamps Tools Light Bulbs Fuses Clutch Cable Accelerator Cable Fire Extinguisher Well that my list any suggestions.

Your list looks good but I always take a fuel pump, Distributor, And plug wires as well. On our way to Effingham John had fuel pump problems but we didn't bring the right fuel pump for an alternator so we duct taped it and it worked for the rest of the weekend. So I guess I would add duct tape to the list haha.

I like the idea of the duct tape and fuel pump both of those items are sitting in my garage right now. i don't have a spare Distributor or a wires right now but good suggestions. I don't like the credit idea because we are not on speaking terms right now. I have also found that a bit of sandpaper is very helpful in a pinch.
