Interesting story. Too bad for the restorers though you have to wonder if the knew since it was heading to the Netherlands. Be sure to check your new project through the state police before you invest 20 grand in it. news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_recovered_van

That is a crazy story, It really sucks for the shop that restored it and it sounds like they are not getting anything out of it just the greedy insurance co.

I think it was fishy that they were shipping it to the Netherlands. I'm betting they new it couldn't be titled in the U.S. Wouldn't you do a little homework before you slapped 20grand into a restore to make sure you could sell it in the U.S. first?
If they were innocent then that sucks. At least we kept it out of the hands of those awful Dutch people. ;D
