Does anybody know where I can get some of those tiny little electrical connectors that push on to the tiny little lights in your guages?
Been to hobby, hardware and auto stores. Noone has em that small.

I know exactly what you are looking for, because I was looking for them last year. It is a little spade connector just around 1/16" wide. I was only able to find them from a electrical supplier that we use here at work. The problem is that the smallest quantity that I was able to find was a 1000 pack. I only needed 6.
What I ended up using was the small spade connectors that comes with after market speakers. The wires that come in the set have a 3/16" spade and a 1/8" spade all ready crimped unto the end. The 1/8" spade is a bit large but it works.
Also what I have done in the past was to solder wire on the tab of the bulb holder. Then use a bullet connector for a disconnect.

Electrical supply was gonna be my next attempt. Soldering a wire on would also work.
Thanks. Mike

The smallest connector that I know of , and sounds the same as what you-all are talking about is the same as a Harley Front Brake Light Switch connector . Maybe - Maybe not . Glen

I'm finding these tiny spade connectors all over the car in suprising places.
Like the interior ligh, the door switch post, the backs of the guages.
I need about 6 minimum but would take as many as 50 just to have em on hand now or for future needs.

By the way, Kendall electric looked through their supply books and had non that small, Radio shack didn't have em that small either.
They are 2/16's wide. Tiny things.

Thats very odd that Radio Shack didnt have them since they deal with alot of small stuff. Have you tried any VW parts suppliers? Or have you tried Lowe's? They have a very large selection.
EDIT I have some, I just checked out in the garage in my dad's old selection of electrical and we have a bunch in 2/16 wide.

Ok, Loews had nothing remotely close to that small. On a whim I stopped at an Advanced Auto Parts. The have an audio customizer section and low and behold they had small terminal connectors (gold plated), they aren't quite as tiny as 2/16 but are close enough to work. Come about 10 in a package for $5. Not cheap but good enough for now.
I even picked up a battery cutoff switch while I was there. Thanks for the answers.
