I have been organizing my photos recently. I found a couple of photos of Paul Jung's red Puma. This is an older Puma GTE where Paul replaced the VW 1600 with a Porsche 2.9 motor and 5-Speed gearbox.  It's a little heavier than mine by about 100 pounds, which I am guessing would be seriously offset by the extra horsepower.  It's a very sanitary installation.  Wanna go Faster? I'll be you could really scare yourself silly with this one! Dave |

Sharp car. Beautiful motor set up. I'll bet nobody has a clue it is VW.

I like the coupes even better than the converts, but alas, I don't fit. The coupes are, like almost all of the sports card from Brazil at that time, very, very low.
Here in the US, cars like the Puma and Ventura often had fiberglass drop pans installed to gain a few precious inches of headroom. I have short legs, and a long torso, which makes it very tight. Even worse, I like to sit a little more upright. It's too bad.
Still, convertibles have their uses...Wednesday I put the top down and drove to East Grand Rapids. What a nice trip.

I think it's safe to say EVERYONE would love to have that motor in 1 or 2 of their toy's .

Hi Folks,
This is Paul Jung. The motor is a 911 sc 3.2, custom dual exhaust, 5 speed trans, Porsche drilled disks all the way around & Porsche suspension. & no, this is not a V.W.
