Ruffuss here, I picked up more cards and flyers from Dustin yesterday in South Haven and have them if anyone needs or wants them just come see me Yellow type 181 THING. I will be at Bettons and/or cruiseing 28th. Later Kenn

Did anyone make the show? I was running later than I hoped and got down to betten imports at about 12:30, didn't see any other vw's just a few old mercedes and volvo's, so didn't sit there long. Ended up cruising back down 28th street and drove through a few parking lots scanning for volkswagens, but had no luck. Then we went to a birthday party for a few hours and went back down 28th st. seen quite a few vw's this time but they were all going the other way, so I wasn't able to meet up with any of them. It started raining pretty good around 6:00 and my son was getting pretty tired from the long day so we worked our way to the end of the cruise and called it a day. Next year the little guy will be left behind so we can stay later. By any chance did any members make it with there vw's and did we cross paths during the day?

We passed out tons of flyer's and cards to all of the VW's that drove by.

Well I think that everyone that was there had a great time I know that I did. If you were there and did not see us we were parked at ToysRus right in the heart of it all.

I feel that we need a larger turn out at the events to show club pride. I know that some of you wanted to go but could not because of other things we understand. For those that were bored with nothing to do you have missed a great show.

Sorry if we missed you Jerry but having no side windows on the Ghia we had to bug out before we got hit by the rain. I really don't know what time we pulled out but some one can fill that in.

Well that sucks I drove by that parking lot two times, guess I wasn't paying enough attention. You guys didn't make it to the west end of 28th? That is where it started and there were a ton of cars down there. Well maybe next time.

Hey all, Like AJ said we had a blast, running out into 28th traffic to hand out flyers and cards. Sitting under the pop-out(shade), shooting the poop, joking around, making new friends and conversing with old. Handed out all the cards, Dustin gave me on Friday and all but a few flyers. Talked to former members of the now(according to them) defunk West Mich. Vintage Club and of course got them cards and flyers. Most welcome the thought of an active air-cooled club in SW Mich. and pledged to see us later. Grand Rapids First handed out ice cold water and pop cicals free of charge all day. I made it to the cruise (orange Super Beetle convertible Rolls royce grill on hood) saw about half of it. the rain ended things early but it was a good show. I'll post some pictures soon.
