I just got an e-mail from Eric Deising at Betten Imports of G.R. ,With an INVITE to their parking lot as part of the Metro cruise Aug. 23 , 08 starting @ 10 am and going to 4 pm . And still have time for the GTG . Come one Come all .

Dustin, I plan on being there, Don't make the mistake to think it ends at 4pm. cause the cruise is starting to kick it up a notch by then. Don't plan on going anywhere on 28th very quickly. Later Kenn

Glen, just to clarify, we moved the GTG to Sunday the 24th so we can all participate in this cruise on the 23rd.
I plan to go to the cruise after work Saturday. Normally I don't work the weekend but this is our semi-annual inventory and I have to work. Can't leave until it is done so I can't guarantee when I will leave B.C.

Well If I bust My A** I mite be able to have My bus done , It's Green once more and buffed and reassembly is underway , Going from a bear shell to a show in 8 days I have my work cut out . About the show , just Betten locks the doors @ 4 pm the Metro cruise goes on till 9 pm , Last year I left just after 4 pm and headed West on 28th St. It took me 1 1-2 hours to go about 10 mi. people everywhere setting along side the road in fold up chairs it is all out packed bumper to bumper , My left foot was going numb I had a BLAST . Ok ok I can make this one but I would very much like to cruise up to GR with someone just in case something poops. Hopefully someone who knows the way. So who is all going to this and where can we meet. just let m know. Kenn you are not the only one busting arse to make this. Buy the way how is the Buss coming a long.

Marie's Grandfather passed away saturday morning. Funeral is on saturday the 23rd. So, will not be able to participate in the metrocruise or the GTG. Hope you all have a great time.

Yes I feel for your loss too. In January My Grandfather died. I had to make a special trip out to Minnesota to visit family and help support my Grandmother.
On a lighter side I test drove the Ghia again for a hour drive even got up to 70 mph on 131. So if there are no problems. I should have no problems for the trip. I just will bring tons of spare parts and tools.

Hey all,
Like I said before Bren-Marie I have felt your pain and my thoughts are with you. Bless you and yours. Think about the good times, it will get easier.
On a lighter note does any one want to join AJ and myself on a cruise up to GR to Bettons for the Metro cruise? What time works for you, I was thinking of leaving home about 8:30 if thats too early lets talk about it? Later Kenn
