New for this year we plan to have a club business meeting. The good people at US131 Motorsports Park have agreed to let us use a meeting space on Oct. 17 right before the GoodVolks DragDay II: thegoodvolks.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=motor&action=display&thread=1438&page=1#13545Meeting will start at 11am and go until we start 'racing'. Agenda is still being worked out for this meeting. Some agenda item ideas are: The Bug Runs (including the night before the fall bug run), GoodVolks Show and Swap (Sam's club show), Club picnic, events we plan to participate in, who is going to fill what roles, etc. If you have something you would like to suggest we cover in this meeting please send me a PM. I will put together the agenda with everyones input. |

I would love to be more involved but with work and trying to finish up my Master's by next fall its unlikely to change any time soon.
I would, however, like to offer up my place in Allendale again for a test n tune sometime next spring (later for possibly better weather). It would be difficult for me to set a date at this time but just something to maybe keep in mind. Heck, even the neighbors are still talking about it positively!

The old flier says $15.00 for fun run , is that for each run down the strip or for the day ?

That is bug run pricing.
Today is a test and tune that we are participating in.
Here is the cost info. for today:
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17th
TEST AND TUNE/GAMBLERS RACE
$20 CAR AND DRIVER
$12 SPECTATOR
12PM TO 6PM

One thing that was decided was to make a couple modifications to the forum.
Check it out. Dustin has done it already.
A sub-board was created for Cruise in's and the Classifieds were split up to make searching easier.

Here is a update.
We discussed the idea of creating a all German car show at Gilmore with the club at our Business meeting.
The idea was well received.
We felt it would be good to have this be a jointly run show between The Good Volks and MVWG and possibly the Porsche Club.
It was recommended that this be a non-judged show to help keep it simple.
It was also recommended that we try to do this mid-July as that is a slow VW show time.
