I just received word from Ron Wenger of the Michiana VW Grouppe that the is firm. October 12th. As details of the day are set I will let you know.

I have just emailed the MVWG through their website asking for information. Hopefully they will get back with me.
If no reply we could always plan our own route.

I have checked my email and nothing yet......I was just looking for scenic drives on the web. If we lived in the UP every road seems to be a scenic route. Also if we lived in the upper mitt of the LP scenic drives are all over.
The best thing that I can come up with is a drive near the lake shore. Sorry I only lived in Michigan for 3-1/2 years.
Does anyone have any better ideas.

The drive on the old highway from St Joseph to Holland is nice. (or Holland to St Joseph)

That sounds good to me the old highway (Blue Star Hwy) is a good solid road with veiws of both foliage and wildlife with many turnouts and parks for a picnic if that is still in the plan. If someone lives over that way maybe they could come up with a loop route with the lake and inland in the mix. A meeting place and stagging area for the many in the surrounding areas would also be nice a mini cruise to the cruise if you will. Later Kenn

I just got a reply from the Michiana Grouppe!
The color tour with them is still going to happen!
This is from Ron Wenger:
"I will have more details on Sunday. I finally will have some time to wrap up my plans for the color tour." Ron also said fall is a busy time for him.

Great, My wife and I are excited about this one too, I just booked a room in Holland for Saturday night, so wont have a long drive Sunday morning  Looking forward to meeting more of the Good Volks, and Michiana VW Gruppe ;D |

I just received conformation that Wifey is coming with me for the Color Tour. What fun.
