Ok so Im starting to grasp the mains and where they are. explain where the airs are. Also how to check the float levels and maybe wed Ill take em down and clean the left one and all that. I guess if the float is not set correctly then that could also be the cause of my full throttle bog as maybe Im running out of gas?? Well maybe not that fast. So Im still thinking mains. Guys at work state they can tell me the jet size with a dril bit?? Ill have to get back to you on whats in there.

Grab a hold of that emulsion tube and pull the threaded part off of it and you will find the air correction jet. It is basically on the other end of the tube.

Air and E-tubes are good the main needs to be bigger I would start with a 145 and see what happens. Also check and make sure that they are all the same. You never know what the guy before ya did.

Ok sounds like a plan. Should I just drill em out? I'll check them all. Also I intend to take the left one apart and clean it like I did with the right one.

Reaming or drilling them out will save you about $20.00 dollors, those little things are not cheap. Start small then try them out.

I would never drill fuel Jets Airs are ok to drill(200 for your application) but fuel needs a precise bore, I know money is tight after this build so you can drill them and buy the sizes you need down the road ;D

Well I drilled em to 130 using the thought process I can always go bigger but smaller ain't an option! Ya in the big picture jets are cheap but I don't want a full set so I'm going to redneck these and will replace with the real deal after I know the size. The airs are 175 and you say should be 200's how does that effect the drivability? I'll test drive it this afternoon.

Air correction jets don't real come on until higher up in the rpm band so chance are you will never real use yours. Air corrections are opposite then the main jets as in the bigger the number the more air they will let in and the bigger the number on a main jet would let more gas in. I would just stay with the 175 air for now. I have no problem reaming jets either. I have never blow in engine up because of one jet being a little bigger then the other ;D

Well in effect I have 133 mains now. Holy shmoley is this thing beastly when you get on it You run out of gear QUICK. I need to relearn how to drive it. When just tooling around it seems pretty normal but a tad touchy on the gas. May still tune on it a tad but overall Im thinking its perfectlly over the top. Soon Ill put the g tech on it and share some #'s feels crazy fast. Again thanks to all that have helped!!! Dan

Break In? To me means drive it like you stole it But that's me. I usually tell everyone to put a few easy miles on them and then adjust the valve lash and change the filter and oil.

When I was Hot and heavy into Pro-Motocross/SuperCross Building 2strokes, I ask the How big is your wallet?? If they did'nt have time to break a Motor in(the night before the race ) I told them to start and warm it up and cool it down at least 4 times to get the ring to seat(Factory Guys have BIG wallets) the Smart guys put a 1/2 hr on them@ half throttle, their pistons would last longer between builds 8-)and the guys that Think" Break'em in Like you Race'em" well let's just say Team Mad Racings engines Won & Finished more Motos then the wannabe Factory guys ;D I think the same applys for any engine also don't hold at a steady rpm very long u don't want the cyl. to get a ring groove at the top of its stroke' Things expand over a rpm/heat range',Ask me about the Little O'lady theory sometime,Madmike
