My wife and I where driving around town tonight, when this redneck (no offense) pulls up next to us and yells "Hey buddy you might wanna get that thing looked at your wheels look broke" as he holds his arm out the window pointing up and at an angle. I could hardly hold a straight face, because it happens quite often, and replied as I chuckled "no its alright, there supposed to look like that". He just gave me a confused look took a second look at my car and sped off. Man I love camber / \.

Haha, Thats great I have never heard of anyone saying that before. I would think since old Ford Rangers have a swing axle front end even the rednecks would know whats up.

Jerry I wasn't taking offense to it just joking along with I get the comment of what is that thing and when I tell that is what it is. I get the deer in head light look, they shrugg their shoulder and drive off. Not knowing what I meant. Just last weekend going through Martin I had a guy and gal ask me what kinda car is that thing, when I told them it was indeed a Thing he flipped me off and sped a way. They followed me for 5 miles before they caught me at a light to ask the question, then when it was something they couldn't understand they flipped me off. Later Kenn

May be Ruffuss needs a large emblem that says Volkswagen Thing. It could subdue some of the flying birds. I wounder how many weird looks I will get in my badgeless Ghia. I like to keep people guessing. At least you have a VW symbol.

Dustin, Ever looked at the windshield of Ruffuss it reads " It's a Thing you wouldn't understand" or the licence plate surround in the rear "I'd be proud to show you my THING", Later Kenn

I noticed the plate frame but I guess I never looked at the windshield.
